New ERP news from our Dynamics community. With around 2,500 Small Medium-Sized (SMB) customers using Microsoft Dynamics GP in the UK and the partner channel adding new name clients every month in the sector, is Dynamics GP, Microsoft’s best kept secret?
Microsoft’s best kept secret? Okay maybe that’s a bit of a stretch, but as a product in the UK, Microsoft Dynamics GP is less known than its big brothers NAV and AX as it’s less heavily promoted by Microsoft, yet it continues to achieve steady growth. Why? Fundamentally Dynamics GP does what it says on the tin, it’s a robust Financial solution that integrates easily with other third party solutions, consolidates that data and then creates meaningful Management Information.
Specialist organisations. The Financial Services sector with Trading and Treasury solutions which do not provide consolidated Back Office but can be easily integrated with Dynamics GP to provide Company and Specialist Vehicle results. These organisations often only need Purchase and Nominal Ledger functionality and we recently implemented a solution for an Asset Management firm in 6 days.
As a platform for growth. Dynamics GP offers excellent value for organisations looking to grow. They’ve had Sage, Quickbooks or even Excel and need a product that offers them the room to grow, (e.g. better reporting, multi-company, multi-currency) at the right price. Currently (Microsoft end of year offer) you can buy a five user GP solution for as little as £600 per concurrent seat and subscription (SaaS) models are available to keep those initial costs down.
Microsoft Dynamics GP is a great Finance solution so don’t underestimate or rule it out if you’re looking for a new Finance system. For more information about Dynamics GP or advice on Finance systems, call 020 3004 4600 or visit Advantage’s website.
