If you’ve previously used CRM for your tablet, you’ve known that it’s not the simplest process to upgrade or reconfigure CRM. Thankfully, however, the latest version now provides the ability to “reconfigure” the application to connect to a different organisation. We’ve created this comprehensive guide to help you reconfigure your CRM.
1. First things first…
On the Windows version open the Charms menu and under Settings look for Reconfigure. Once you’ve done this, you’ve completed step one.
2. Next steps
Okay, so now that you’ve opened up the reconfigure menu in Stettings, you’ve completed your first step to being able to reconfigure CRM for your mobile device. On iOS and Android, open the More Commands menu and under Settings look for Reconfigure.
3. Keep in mind…
Every time you use this feature you lose any metadata you’ve downloaded for that organisation. So if you go back and try to connect to an organisation you were previously connected to you’ll still need to wait for the configuration to get everything set up again.
